This policy applies to the website https://www.miklosarpad.hu, operated by Miklós Árpád e.v. It describes which cookies and browser-stored data the website uses, what for, and how you decide whether to allow them. The processing of personal data is covered by the privacy policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that a website places in your browser. The browser's local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. They let a website remember your settings or measure how visitors use it.
2. Managing consent
- On your first visit, a banner appears at the bottom of the page. There you can accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies. There are no per-category settings: accepting applies to all analytics and marketing cookies listed below.
- Until you accept, no analytics or marketing cookie is placed in your browser: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Hotjar do not even load, and Google's Consent Mode denies everything by default.
- You can change your decision at any time with the "Manage cookies" button in the footer: the banner appears again.
- If you accepted cookies earlier and now reject them, you can delete the cookies already set in your browser settings.
3. Cookies and stored data used by the website
3.1 Essential storage
This needs no consent, because without it the website could not remember your decision. Legal basis: legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

3.3 Marketing cookies (only with consent)
The website shows no ads. The cookie below is set by Google's tag if you accept cookies. Legal basis: consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a).

3.4 Embedded videos (YouTube)
YouTube videos load only when you press play in the video area; until then the website sends no data to YouTube and no YouTube cookie is placed in your browser. By clicking you consent to loading the video. The video loads in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), but during playback YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) may use its own cookies and the browser's local storage under its own rules: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
3.5 Measurement without cookies
Vercel Speed Insights measures loading speed anonymously. It uses no cookies and does not identify visitors.
4. Deleting cookies in your browser
You can delete cookies and the website's stored data at any time in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, or Delete browsing data;
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data;
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
5. Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time (with the "Manage cookies" button in the footer), ask for information, ask for your data to be deleted, and lodge a complaint with the NAIH, the Hungarian supervisory authority (https://www.naih.hu). The details are in the privacy policy.
